I could have killed one of mine today,he really did my head in!!I havent worked with him long,but my god he is annoying-he just talks and talks about boring stories that go nowhere and are all about him-he is one of those people who ask you a question but don't give you time to answer before they are telling their own anecdote!

We met at 7am to do some enquiries/observations and straight off he was getting his facts wrong telling me why something needed to be done (I bloody know already) and generally talking to me like I was a retarded 5 year old.Then he was getting in my way whilst I was looking out for my suspect-correct me if I'm wrong,but I need to see the person to arrest them you KNOB!!!

I had hours of this,then I get back to the office and had to listen to EXTREMELY LOUD WOMAN shouting across the office,if I was in charge I'd tell her to pipe down and shut up,but I need to be on my best behaviour for the time being,but I was really near tearing my hair out today.

I have a low tolerance threshold obviously.Oh,and btw,stop bloody calling me WPC,it pisses me off!!!

a black pinstripe suit-£20,really not bad at all seeing as most suits make me look like a sack of spuds,this will be fab for court!

just realised that the jacket came up as £5,so the suit was £13!

I am very bad

I went out last night and got slaughtered,and ended up snogging a friend of mine with whom I have always had a flirty friendship,I feel bad cos he's got a partner and kids but I can't behave myself when I've had a drink or 2 and there is chemistry there.I have got a few male friends,and luckily most of them are gay so its no issue,but I think I only have a couple of male friends with whom nothing has ever happened,like Carrie Bradshaw says in SATC,'can men and women ever be just friends?' maybe not I think,the attraction is sometimes part of what makes you both get on in the first place .

I paid for it last night though,I was so drunk I nearly fell asleep on the train,then walked home and woke up to be sick in the middle of the night!!

Classy eh?Still,I wore my Warehouse leopard dress for the first time and it looked good,managed not to wreck it either.

my beloved car.......

now has a dent in the rear door thanks to some wanker who has obviously banged into it,the bastardos!!!I think it is most likely to have been a removal van that was parked right up the arse of my baby the other day,cos I haven't driven it for a world record of a week!I wish I had off street parking,cos although my car is old,it was dent/scratch free when I got it,now it bears allsorts of scars,some of which have been made by me admittedly,I swear I will kill any bastard that goes near my car if I see them!rrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

noisy eaters

Today,at work there was a man who came and sat behind me in the office and started unwrapping his over-packaged lunch,taking wrappers off numerous items,smacking his lips,eating loudly and generally NOT eating in total silence.This annoying habit makes me have murderous thoughts,it really is my pet hate,I can't bear it.Thankfully I have long hair,so I stuck my finger in my ear so I didnt have to listen to his chomping.

I have bought myself one of those exercise balls,not just anyone mind,its a Gunnar Peterson 'core secrets' ball as advertised on ITV2 by some gorgeous American girl called Brooke Burke (so American!)who swears by it,it actually arrived last week,just as I was packing to go away so I have only just got round to pumping it up!I had visions of me sitting on it watching tv which is,apparently exercise enough in itself,(the sitting still,not watching tv!) but I cant keep still on it so far!Also how big are you supposed to blow them up?I am scared that it will explode if I overdo it.





I bet Brooke didn't have this problem.

Just got back today from a work course,what a waste of time that was,its out in the wilds of the country with no street lights to speak of,no internet,no shops open past 5 o/c clock and my best work mate wasn't there this time,she's the only one who keeps me sane as pretty much the rest of them are muppets.
Take girl 1-she has a constant high pitched whine and is such a major arselick,she does 'good things' but only cos she wants people to say how lovely she is (she isn't!) and I know this is a terrible thing to say,but she really is the ugliest looking thing I have ever seen.
Girl 2 is the slapper who shagged the man I was seeing,everytime I look at her hairy face I want to punch her,I also found out she had yet another 3-some with some colleagues at a party earlier in the year,great rep she's got.
Some of the blokes aren't much better,they are so wet its amazing how they ever got GF's or wives as it seems they can't talk to women at all,let alone do this job that actually means you have to speak to people you don't know!
God,I'm glad to be back.Mind you,I did get to run around the woods in a white CSI suit which was fun!

I love these two,and I love the fact that they've 'gone classy' with this video.She looks pregnant to me,she did on Children in Need too-you heard it here first if she is,if she isn't,I never told ya nothing right?!

What a bizarre day,all in all-it took me 2 1/2 hours to get to work this morning because there was no tube and the trains were fucked,I am amazed I kept my cool,then
when I get to work,I nearly had to deliver a baby!!!I was so nervous,I was with her and her husband for an unheard of 1/2 hour whilst we waited for the ambulance,as there were none available for ages,her contractions got down to every 3 minutes and I seriously thought that would have to deliver the baby,I have never been so relieved at seeing the paramedic arrive,but also secretly quite sad-how cool would it have been to say I had delivered a baby!Just like the Bill!!They could have named it after me. ;-)

God,I went shopping today and it was hellish,mainly because of people doing their xmas shopping,but also because of men!Why do men litter the shops up standing around infront of rails of womens clothes,blocking the aisles,gawping at you when you're trying to look through the rails,I know they are shopping with their gf's,but really,leave them outside or get them to stand out of MY WAY!

I managed to get my god-daughter the fire truck thingy she wants for xmas,it is big,and as I carried it towards my beloved car (how did I ever manage without you?)I swear it grew in size,by the time I got to the car park it felt nearly as big as me,it'll definately be bigger than she is!Bargain though,half price!

things I am thinking about atm

synchronised swimmers have just been on London Tonight,and it made me wonder-that must be one of the best exercises that there is,water-aerobics-so why do you always see slightly chubby ladies doing it?I am not knocking their figures,but how come they arent toned to the hilt?I don't get it.
Also,I need to wear smart/casual at work,but not show any cleavage and be comfortable-but I just can't do it right.I can do smart office wear,I can do fashion wear and I can do very casual.I just cannot do 'smartcasual'.

friendships

Have you ever wondered how and why you are friends with your friends?I have just spent an hour and a half killing myself laughing on the phone to my friend who,on paper,shouldn't be my friend-we used to work together,he is 12 years younger than me,a lad's lad in a lad's job,when I'm the female minority.We have nothing in common but managed to find a common ground when we worked together,I suppose we were an odd couple,but we had a laugh and backed each other up when needed.Sounds easy enough but it is rare enough for me to value it.Infact all my friends would be an odd but fantastic bunch if they were ever all in a room together,I doubt any of them have anything in common with the others,amongst the jobs they have are HR director/creative director for a major fashion chain/IT consultant/prison psychologist/police/pensions assistant/point of sale director/visual merchandising manager/buyers/SA's, god,I just realised that alot of my friends are directors of something,now I feel inadequate!!!

Will I never learn?

I have a massive hangover today after consuming way too much Pinot Grigio last night,I stayed over at my friends and there's nothing worse than waking up at 2am in someone elses house with the raging thirst and a bad head,I couldn't sleep properly from then on,and I felt shocking driving home this morning,so I shall be staying in most likely all day eating and drinking the pain away!

I think I scared the life out of my hairdresser the other day when I popped into the salon in full uniform to see him-I don't think he actually believed me when I told him what I did for a living,well,he does now.hoho.I walked in and everyone turns and looks at you,probably thinking 'oh god,dont talk to me,what have I done?',like the time I had to walk into a very posh banking building and arrest someone,everyone was giggling at first and nudging each other,until they realise you are not a stripper and you're there for a reason,you could hear a penny drop,and the cogs in their minds going 'please not me,please not me!'.Like I say.Power!!

Supernanny was on last night,and I like to watch that programme for tips,should I ever have any kids.There was a 9 year old girl on there who was very scary-she looked 25 but with the body of a child,spoke like a seasoned 'it' girl on 20 a day, and had the art of sarcasm down to perfection,and was very articulate and extremely rude.Kids like that scare me,the ones that act like they've been here before and have some'knowing' behind their eyes.

It never ceases to amaze me that grown men whose lives and jobs could well depend on me will act like little kids and back stab me to save themselves from getting in the shit,I am refering to my colleague who has already stitched me up once recently,so I have been very wary of him since-today he quite literally washed his hands of the shit that was hitting the fan and tried to let me take all the blame for HIS job,the knobber-he got all irate when I asked him why he hadn't taken charge of HIS job,so now I have stitched him up in a professional manner,known to those who have more experience in the art of 'covering your back'.How true the advice was when I was told 'always keep your stab vest on in the office'.I am not happy.
Stil,I saw the 'white van man' at the petrol station,so that cheered me up somewhat.

bread and stupid bitches.........

I was knackered last night getting the tube home from a hard days work saving the world etc,on the way I noticed Greggs was still open,so I popped in to pick up some bread as I had run out,so I am umming and aaahing,finally decide which one I want and pick it up,then this biatch say to me 'you can't buy that love,we're not serving',I just looked at her and said 'well you could have told me that when I walked in 2 minutes ago!',I was irrationally irate at this for some reason,why the fuck didnt she just lock the bloody door instead of letting me touch up the bread for 2 minutes,was it ok if I was a bread perv?As long as I didnt actually want to buy anything!I told her I would NEVER shop there again!!!
God,why do I attract weird people and get so bothered about it?In the end I went to the nice Vietnamese shop acroos the road from the terrorist house that was on tv!!

how do things go missing?

I haven't been able to find my TS grey Baxters for ages,they are not in the usual places-bags/laundry basket etc,infact I cant find them since I went away a couple of months ago but I didnt take them with me,so I dont think I have left them there.I had gone off them for awhile,but now they seem ok again to wear with chunky knits and boots.I wonder if the catsitter nicked them?

IRL......

I saw 'Mikeyandgrace' today on TCR,and they actually looked better than they did on tv,not orange at all!most Z-listers look much worse.Then I saw that actress who was in Jane Eyre last week,so pretty,she had on a cream baker boy hat that was very nice,I want one of these if I can get one to fit my mahoosive head!!

white van man

White van man lives a few doors down from me,and has done for all the time I've lived here.He is gorgeous,I used to call him 'blue van man' *see how imaginative I am?* 'cos he had a blue van.He is a gardener of sorts,and I used to admire his lovely legs in his combat shorts in the summer,and his cutely dishevelled grey hair-he used to give me the eye when he walked past my flat,having a sneaky look in!!
One day I discovered he had a live in GF which was weird cos I had never seen her until that point,he now has 2 kids.He is still eye candy,he still has a sneaky look now and then.
My garden needs doing...........................

so he texts me at 6.15am this morning,a jokey text that I didnt understand at first cos I have a baaaaaaad memory when drunk,not drunk at that time btw,I'm talking the night before,so I nearly deleted it because I didnt recognise the number and thought it was one of those texts that want you to reply then charge you a tenner a minute or something!! Anyway,why do men text?I never do,I always phone them,I think its a cop out!!!

last night..

I met a cute man,after nearly puking on the tube and just wanting to go home,I got over myself and stayed at the crappy pub and talked to him all night,he is an ex-boxer-yum and tall and wasn't put off by my job,gave him my number and ended the night with a meeting of lips,had my friend drunkenly telling me all night how he 'has done good by me for introducing us' etc etc,so we'll see,I am still an old cynic at heart!!
Woke up feeling terrible at 2 a.m,its been awhile since I drank that much,and I look a sight this morning.
