noisy eaters

Today,at work there was a man who came and sat behind me in the office and started unwrapping his over-packaged lunch,taking wrappers off numerous items,smacking his lips,eating loudly and generally NOT eating in total silence.This annoying habit makes me have murderous thoughts,it really is my pet hate,I can't bear it.Thankfully I have long hair,so I stuck my finger in my ear so I didnt have to listen to his chomping.

I have bought myself one of those exercise balls,not just anyone mind,its a Gunnar Peterson 'core secrets' ball as advertised on ITV2 by some gorgeous American girl called Brooke Burke (so American!)who swears by it,it actually arrived last week,just as I was packing to go away so I have only just got round to pumping it up!I had visions of me sitting on it watching tv which is,apparently exercise enough in itself,(the sitting still,not watching tv!) but I cant keep still on it so far!Also how big are you supposed to blow them up?I am scared that it will explode if I overdo it.





I bet Brooke didn't have this problem.

Just got back today from a work course,what a waste of time that was,its out in the wilds of the country with no street lights to speak of,no internet,no shops open past 5 o/c clock and my best work mate wasn't there this time,she's the only one who keeps me sane as pretty much the rest of them are muppets.
Take girl 1-she has a constant high pitched whine and is such a major arselick,she does 'good things' but only cos she wants people to say how lovely she is (she isn't!) and I know this is a terrible thing to say,but she really is the ugliest looking thing I have ever seen.
Girl 2 is the slapper who shagged the man I was seeing,everytime I look at her hairy face I want to punch her,I also found out she had yet another 3-some with some colleagues at a party earlier in the year,great rep she's got.
Some of the blokes aren't much better,they are so wet its amazing how they ever got GF's or wives as it seems they can't talk to women at all,let alone do this job that actually means you have to speak to people you don't know!
God,I'm glad to be back.Mind you,I did get to run around the woods in a white CSI suit which was fun!

I love these two,and I love the fact that they've 'gone classy' with this video.She looks pregnant to me,she did on Children in Need too-you heard it here first if she is,if she isn't,I never told ya nothing right?!

What a bizarre day,all in all-it took me 2 1/2 hours to get to work this morning because there was no tube and the trains were fucked,I am amazed I kept my cool,then
when I get to work,I nearly had to deliver a baby!!!I was so nervous,I was with her and her husband for an unheard of 1/2 hour whilst we waited for the ambulance,as there were none available for ages,her contractions got down to every 3 minutes and I seriously thought that would have to deliver the baby,I have never been so relieved at seeing the paramedic arrive,but also secretly quite sad-how cool would it have been to say I had delivered a baby!Just like the Bill!!They could have named it after me. ;-)

men and shopping etc

God,I went shopping today and it was hellish,mainly because of people doing their xmas shopping,but also because of men!Why do men litter the shops up standing around infront of rails of womens clothes,blocking the aisles,gawping at you when you're trying to look through the rails,I know they are shopping with their gf's,but really,leave them outside or get them to stand out of MY WAY!

I managed to get my god-daughter the fire truck thingy she wants for xmas,it is big,and as I carried it towards my beloved car (how did I ever manage without you?)I swear it grew in size,by the time I got to the car park it felt nearly as big as me,it'll definately be bigger than she is!Bargain though,half price!

X-Factor-I love Eton Road,they are so quirky.

things I am thinking about atm

synchronised swimmers have just been on London Tonight,and it made me wonder-that must be one of the best exercises that there is,water-aerobics-so why do you always see slightly chubby ladies doing it?I am not knocking their figures,but how come they arent toned to the hilt?I don't get it.
Also,I need to wear smart/casual at work,but not show any cleavage and be comfortable-but I just can't do it right.I can do smart office wear,I can do fashion wear and I can do very casual.I just cannot do 'smartcasual'.

friendships

Have you ever wondered how and why you are friends with your friends?I have just spent an hour and a half killing myself laughing on the phone to my friend who,on paper,shouldn't be my friend-we used to work together,he is 12 years younger than me,a lad's lad in a lad's job,when I'm the female minority.We have nothing in common but managed to find a common ground when we worked together,I suppose we were an odd couple,but we had a laugh and backed each other up when needed.Sounds easy enough but it is rare enough for me to value it.Infact all my friends would be an odd but fantastic bunch if they were ever all in a room together,I doubt any of them have anything in common with the others,amongst the jobs they have are HR director/creative director for a major fashion chain/IT consultant/prison psychologist/police/pensions assistant/point of sale director/visual merchandising manager/buyers/SA's, god,I just realised that alot of my friends are directors of something,now I feel inadequate!!!

Will I never learn?

I have a massive hangover today after consuming way too much Pinot Grigio last night,I stayed over at my friends and there's nothing worse than waking up at 2am in someone elses house with the raging thirst and a bad head,I couldn't sleep properly from then on,and I felt shocking driving home this morning,so I shall be staying in most likely all day eating and drinking the pain away!

I've got the power......

I think I scared the life out of my hairdresser the other day when I popped into the salon in full uniform to see him-I don't think he actually believed me when I told him what I did for a living,well,he does now.hoho.I walked in and everyone turns and looks at you,probably thinking 'oh god,dont talk to me,what have I done?',like the time I had to walk into a very posh banking building and arrest someone,everyone was giggling at first and nudging each other,until they realise you are not a stripper and you're there for a reason,you could hear a penny drop,and the cogs in their minds going 'please not me,please not me!'.Like I say.Power!!

Supernanny was on last night,and I like to watch that programme for tips,should I ever have any kids.There was a 9 year old girl on there who was very scary-she looked 25 but with the body of a child,spoke like a seasoned 'it' girl on 20 a day, and had the art of sarcasm down to perfection,and was very articulate and extremely rude.Kids like that scare me,the ones that act like they've been here before and have some'knowing' behind their eyes.
