Primark!!!

The Oxford Street store opens on Thursday the 5th,I cant wait!!!!I will be down there every lunchtime I reckon.Today I had to WALK PAST the Romford Primark as I was on my way to do an interview with a colleague,so I couldn't just 'pop' in and it was closed on our way back!!!

yay!!!first Primark visit in AGES!!!

I went for a flying visit with T and got this cute tunic, which I actually think is too big for me but the smaller size was too tight,I am hoping it will look a bit Alexa Chung-ish as we both decided we were loving her style,and I live in tops like this in the summer and I also got a floral patterned smock top-will have to get a pic of this one though and some red kukui style beads that I have been picking up and looking at in there forever as I dont usually go for red,these were a bargain reduced to £1!They'd look fab worn like this I think.

girls tour of Brighton!!!

Me and T went to Brighton on Saturday to meet up with the Weenie one for gossip and cocktails.It was a long overdue visit,but at last we have done it!I love Brighton,all that sea air,it was mad windy but it was nice to be breathing clean air for once and I love pottering around the Laines and not really doing very much at all.We forgot to get our pics taken in that famous board cutout (dunno what they're realy called)though,I've got pictures of me in that thing from 12 years ago,so I wanted another one to add to the collection,I'll have to save that one for next time.

remember that list that came out of songs that you shouldn't like but secretly do?Well most of the songs on there were ones I really like,so what would people say if I said I am thinking of buying this Dolly Parton hits cd.When I was a kid I loved 'Jolene' so much,and her original version of 'I will always love you' is just beautiful.I also like 'Islands in the stream' with Kenny Rogers.I'm digging myself in deep here aren't I ?

I really like the colour of her hair-but where the hell do you get a colourist that can colour like that,without mismatched highlights or roots?I like my hairdresser and the latest cut he did was spot on,but he isnt the best colourist,tbh I have never been amazed by any colour I've had,not since I was about 20 and had perfect hair,but then that was probably because I had only just started having highlights.Where do these stars get their hair done-is it only if you pay £300+ that you get the natural look with no 'seams'?

I feel sorry for myself

my knee is strapped up and I can't walk properly,or sit comfortably and its hurting like mad.I could just cry with boredom.

I just nearly got run over by some fuckwit of a cyclist-I was crossing the road and heard someone shout 'heads up!' (wtf?I've never heard that expression before)and this twat comes screeching round the corner at about 30mph,luckily I managed to step back,he cycles off cursing me,so naturally I shout back at him he then cycles back all aggressive,shouting the odds.Well me and this old lady who witnessed this,sent him off with a flea in his ear,after making him apologise and using my special guilt trip technique,not to mention telling him I would call the locals if he persisted in his behaviour,bet he wont be doing that again in a hurry!
This is why people HATE cyclists in London!!

bored to tears

I am so bored at work at the moment,I never thought I could be this bored in this job-its like being at my old job,bored to tears and nowhere to escape to.To slightly relieve the tedium,I went to Topshop today and bought this scarf for a rip off ten quid-but I really wanted it,a snake necklace and a purple t-shirt from H&M.H&M is weird just lately,all my friends and fellow fashion mad girls seem to find lots of gorgeous pieces in there-I was struggling to be inspired by anything,even the wall of sunglasses was disappointing close up.God,I can't even shop properly anymore.How depressing.

Oh,revenge is very sweet!!!

I don't care if its right or wrong,revenge is a dish best eaten cold is so so true!!!Went out last night to a work do and saw an ex flame and the slag he did the dirty on me with.Lets just say that I got my revenge,and it was sweet as.




I might update this to make more sense later,I dont trust myself not to gleefully post too much info atm.

Handbags and gladrags

Had a bid meet with the girls today for drinks and admiration of handbags and new dresses,the usual crew were there and I met up with Kate first of all,we went to have a look at the Wag's boutiques-can you believe there was a queue on the OPPOSITE side of the road to enter the shops,and people were actually queuing in the rain,we kept walking-we decided there was no way we were gonna wait in any queue just to get in and boss a wag around!
Anyway,it was lovely to see everyone again and meet Jenny for the first time-I like your style mrs-getting strangers to take our empty glasses away when they didnt even work there,and terrorising random men!Well worth missing Lee Sharpe for in Dancing on Ice.

I think I am going mad,nothing is as it was,yet nothing has changed that much either.Today I went and had my hair cut,and when I came to pay,I couldnt remember the pin-how embarrassing-I had to wait there for a while until it suddenly came to me and I remembered it.I think that may have been down to lack of food though as I only had some porridge and berries all day,and have had to start yet another new job-I don't know if I am coming or going anymore.Then the lady who is arranging my remortgage called to ask if I had posted some paperwork to her,yes yes said I ,she then said 'oh I havent had it yet-did you post it 1st class?' I said yes,but I thought it was pre-paid and didnt stick any stamps on,so that will probably go awol,either that or they will charge me bucks for forgetting to stick on a stamp!!
Then I get home and the hospital has posted the MRI scans to me-wtf am I going to do with them?Naturally I opened them though,although they just look like bones to me-to think they cost £394!!!

Today,

I trekked halfway across London (literally-well done occ health,great idea for someone with a knee injury!!)to have my knee MRI'd at some posh private hospital,and whilst I was waiting and drinking the free tea flicking through New magazine,I saw a certain lady journalist waiting there as well,I was then called in and had to insert myself into a machine and then lie completely still for 25 minutes while the machine pinged and buzzed my leg,I can't sit still at the best of times so this was a challenge,(dunno how I ever did it on parade),so I tried to think of anything other than my knees,my legs,my nose itching,so I thought of handbags,and which one I want when I have some money-I can't remember the last decent bag I bought.I want to get one made for me,and I am thinking the Jimmy Choo ramona (as posted about many moons ago) or a giant Luella slouchy bag I've seen which would also be very practical,and no-one I know has one either.Also,apparently if you have tattoos,which I do,they can react with the MRI and heat up!!I think its only if they are the cheap ones or really old tattoos-the sort sailors might have or something,luckily mine were ok-I wonder what happens if they heat up and you carry on??

Got into work and opened an email saying 'sorry for the previous email I was drunk',well I hadnt seen the earlier email,so when I saw it was a 'will you go out with me' off a sort of colleague,I was a bit :-0,not sure whether to be offended by the fact that he retracted it by saying he was drunk or not (does he need to be drunk to like me and all that?!!!)

Today I was clearing out some of my wardrobe and I stuck a pair of Earl jeans on the 'get rid of pile',now I used to love these jeans about 5 years ago when I first got into designer jeans,but they were always too big on me,I can remember being able to pull them up without undoing the buttons and having to cinch them in with a belt-now as you may have guessed they fit a treat!Gutted!I need to lose weight,I don't want to wake up one day really fat and have to go on 'you are what you eat' or something,I have put on a fair amount since I started this job 2 years ago,before that I never ate junk food,used to buy organic vegetables every week and generally eat very heathily.Not anymore though.
Also I used to go to the gym regulary,now I am always too knackered on shifts to bother,and now I have the time,I have f**ked my knee up so I cant so anything there that warrants the £52 per month fee.
