I need a new mobile

but how on earth do I choose one?I am out of my contract so well overdue for a new phone that does all this, although I suppose most phones do these days.........

  • good camera
  • easy to access video (so I can video my colleagues doing embarrassing things!)
  • internet-needs to be cheap and easy to use though, not like on the phone I have now.
  • some sort of diary/calendar type thing that I can set up reminders on 'cos I have a mind like a sieve.
  • easy texting,no sticky or hard to press buttons.
  • stores lots of text/picture messages-my current phone only holds 200 texts which sounds alot but in reality doesn't cut it.
its all so confusing!!!

I can't wait for my contract to come up, I really want a Blackberry or iPhone. My bro has one of the new Nokia ones, don't know what it is an N something, that's meant to be pretty good xx

I'd definitely say go for an iPhone, I'm so glad I decided to get one. Mine's the 3G one which doesn't have video recording but I'm sure the 3Gs one does. Definitely ticks all your other requirements though!

Only draw back I've heard with the iPhone is it can be fiddly & unreliable & also, you can't delete individual texts. It's either delete all or keep all which is useless really.

On the plus side, you can buy a bubblewrap Ap! :oP

These bits of info came from two peope who I know who have an iPhone so if it's wrong, I shall be having words with them!

thank you!!!!
not being able to delete individual texts would be very annoying though!anymore recs??
Becky-can you believe I still never sorted the phone afterall the faff?!

Just had to check but you can delete individual texts on the iPhone. It seems like ages ago we were both trying to decide what to get! It depends how much you're happy paying but i'm happy to pay £35 for loads of calls and texts, unlimited internet etc. Let us know what you decide! x

I seem to be the only person in the world that only uses her phone, as that.
A phone. It is so old I have no camera, nothing.
It takes me an hour to text, which is so rare anyway, cause I prefer to speak to them on the phone.
Also, I never have mine on anyway!!!
